The OHRN represents the various community groups and organisation spread geographically along the entire catchment. These groups have voluntarily taken responsibility for a reserve, park, a part of the river, or just take a general interest in the health of the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River in their neighbourhood.
Some groups are well-established and have regular clean-up days or working bees, while others may meet on a more ad-hoc basis. If you are interested in joining or just want to find more information click on the any of the groups below:
