About the Ōpāwaho-Heathcote River Network

The Ōpāwaho-Heathcote River Network River Network was formed in June 2015 and is governed by a Steering Group which meets monthly. Membership of the group include a mix of representatives from community groups who are working to protect or rehabilitate specific sites on the Ōpāwaho-Heathcote River, and individuals living within in the Ōpāwaho-Heathcote River catchment with a strong interest in and commitment to, the river. The Steering Group meets monthly.

To facilitate a collaborative network which advocates for the regeneration of the whole of Ōpāwaho Heathcote River .
